Code of Conduct for Hunting Practices

The professional hunters of the farms we recommend adhere to all guidelines as outlined in the Professional Hunter Association of South Africa’s Code of Conduct.

PHASA Code of Conduct

We hunters will act in a manner that reflects honesty, integrity, and morality. In the spirit of fair hunting, the principle of sustainable use of our natural resources is upheld, and we commit to the following:

• We follow all laws of the country.
• We will not misrepresent ourselves in any way to the hunting guests or mislead them.
• We will not allow material gain to override the principles of fair hunting.
• We do not hunt wild animals that cannot fend for themselves or are not in their natural environment.
• We will always apply humane hunting practices.
• We do not hunt female animals with young.
• We will not allow hunting guests to shoot animals from a distance beyond their competence or the capabilities of their equipment.
• We will respect the property of local communities.
